When CBSE releases the timetable, thousands of copies, screenshots and fake PDFs will appear within minutes. Knowing how to download the CBSE Date Sheet 2027 PDF from the right place saves you from planning around a wrong date. As of 31 October 2026, the board has not published it yet, but this guide shows exactly how to get it and what to verify the moment it is out.

- 5 simple steps
- Verify before you plan
How to Download the CBSE Date Sheet 2027 PDF
- Open the official site. Go to cbse.gov.in in your browser.
- Find the latest notices. Look in the “Latest @ CBSE” area or the examination circulars section.
- Pick your class. Open the link for the Class X or Class XII examination date sheet 2027.
- Open and check the PDF. Confirm it belongs to the 2027 exam cycle and note its issue date.
- Save a copy. Keep it on your phone or computer, and print one for your study table.
If CBSE later issues a revised timetable, replace the old file with the latest official version so you are never planning from a stale copy. For the overall status, see our CBSE Date Sheet 2027 updates page.
What to Verify in the PDF
- Exam year: it should clearly refer to the 2027 examinations.
- Class: Class X and Class XII are separate documents.
- Subject codes: match them with your registered subjects, not just the subject names.
- Date and time: note the paper date and the timing printed for each subject.
- Issue date or notice number: useful when you need to confirm a version.
Avoiding Fake and Unofficial Timetables
A screenshot forwarded in a group chat is not an official document. Be wary of any file that asks for payment, a login or an app download just to view the timetable. Dates reported before CBSE’s own notice are predictions, and even well-meaning websites can copy details wrongly. When in doubt, open cbse.gov.in directly instead of using a link someone sent you. The board may also issue a tentative schedule first and a final one later, as it did before the 2026 exams, so check which version you are reading.
Exam-Day Instructions to Check Next
The date sheet only gives you the calendar. Your admit card and school notices carry the practical rules, so read both before the first paper.
- Reporting time: note when you must reach the centre and when the gates close.
- Documents: keep your admit card and any identification the board asks for ready the night before.
- Prohibited items: phones, smartwatches and unauthorised notes are usually not allowed, so check the rules for calculators and other exceptions.
- Practicals: practical exams and internal assessment follow separate schedules, which your school will share.
If a school notice seems to differ from the board’s guidance, ask your school to clarify it before the exam day.
Class 10 Second Exam and Its Timetable
Class 10 students have a compulsory main exam and an optional second exam, planned for May, to improve up to three subjects, with the better score counted. Only theory papers are repeated, and internal marks are carried forward. Since the second exam is expected to be notified separately, look for its own schedule after the main one. Our Class 10 date sheet guide explains eligibility in full, and Class 12 students can read the Class 12 guide, since they have only one exam.
Study Plan Once You Have the PDF
- Copy the dates into a calendar. Mark each paper and the gaps between them.
- Count the days left. Divide them among subjects, giving more time to tougher ones.
- Fix a revision order. Subjects scheduled close together deserve extra attention in advance.
- Add mock tests. Practise one timed paper per subject before its real date.
- Leave a buffer. Keep one day free each week for catching up and rest.
Practise with official sample papers and marking schemes from cbseacademic.nic.in. For Class 10 Science, our Class 10 Sample Paper 2026 page and the NCERT Science Textbooks PDF library are good places to start.
